Better Built Homes Wins HIA National Award for Professional Medium Builder 2025

We’re incredibly proud to share that Better Built Homes has been awarded the 2025 HIA National Award for Professional Medium Builder/Renovator of the Year. This national recognition is more than a trophy on the shelf, it’s a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the hard work, heart, and dedication of our entire team.

The awards ceremony, held on the weekend of 16-17th May in Melbourne, capped off a powerful and insightful day at the HIA National Conference. Our founders, Jayden Saundercock and Aaron Gampe, attended the event alongside their wives (who many will recognise as the talented duo behind Oak & Orange). The day’s discussions covered everything from the realities of running a business to inspiring stories of grit and purpose, including standout talks from Olympic cyclist Anna Meares and Simon Griffiths, founder of Who Gives a Crap.

A Win for the Whole Team

This award marks a major milestone in Better Built Homes’ 15-year journey, but more importantly, it’s a team win. From the office to the construction site, our staff, subcontractors, and suppliers are the engine behind everything we do.
